An independent research initiative publishing falsifiable predictions about anomalous phenomena before observation windows open.
The C4 Institute exists to test a single hypothesis: that the universe retains information across cosmic cycles, and that this "memory" can manifest as observable anomalies in our current aeon.
We do this by publishing falsifiable predictions before the data arrives, then tracking whether we're right. This is the only way to distinguish genuine forecasting from post-hoc pattern-matching.
Our work is grounded in Roger Penrose's Conformal Cyclic Cosmology (CCC), extended with an information-theoretic treatment of consciousness. The framework is speculative, but it generates testable predictions—and those predictions can be empirically confirmed or disconfirmed.
All predictions are timestamped and published (via Zenodo DOI or peer-reviewed journals) before the relevant observation window opens. This prevents post-hoc rationalization.
We maintain a public Predictions Tracker showing which forecasts were confirmed, disconfirmed, or remain pending. Failed predictions are not deleted—they're part of the record.
Major findings are submitted to peer-reviewed journals (e.g., British Interplanetary Society Journal). Preprints are published on Zenodo for transparency. See the Research page for all publications.
The C4 Framework is a testable hypothesis. The Echo Cycle book series is narrative exploration. We're transparent about which is which.
Kevin is an independent researcher and author focused on cosmological anomalies and consciousness studies. He founded the C4 Institute in 2024 to formalize a research program around the hypothesis that information persists across cosmic cycles.
Background: Kevin spent 25 years in enterprise technology before transitioning to full-time research. His work synthesizes insights from physics (Penrose's CCC), information theory, and observational astronomy to generate testable predictions about phenomena like interstellar object 3I/ATLAS.
Publications: Kevin's research has been accepted for publication in the Journal of the British Interplanetary Society (JBIS), with additional preprints available on Zenodo. He is the author of The Imprinted Universe, the first book in the Echo Cycle series.
Philosophy: Kevin believes that speculative frameworks are valuable if they generate falsifiable predictions. The C4 Institute's work stands or falls on empirical outcomes, not narrative appeal.
The C4 Institute is an independent research initiative funded by book sales, supporter subscriptions, and individual donations. We do not accept corporate sponsorships or government grants to preserve intellectual independence.
Transparency: All major predictions are published with Zenodo DOIs (permanent, timestamped records). Research findings are submitted to peer review. Financial supporters receive early access to research materials but do not influence the research agenda.

The C4 framework is highly speculative and not accepted by mainstream physics. The Institute's predictions are testable hypotheses, not established facts. All research findings are subject to peer review and empirical validation. The Echo Cycle book series is narrative exploration, not peer-reviewed science.
